Terms & Disclosures

Please read these disclosures before contributing.
Nature of this fundraiser
Einstein's Hope Fund is currently a personal fundraising initiative organized by Einstein Rodriguez. It is not a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization or any other kind of registered nonprofit.
Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations. If you have tax questions, please consult a tax professional.
How contributions are used
Contributions are received personally by Einstein Rodriguez and used for expenses related to his kidney transplant journey: medical expenses, post-transplant medications, recovery support and essential living expenses during this period.
Voluntary gifts
All contributions are voluntary personal gifts. No goods, services or benefits are offered in exchange.
The $10,000 USD figure is an initial goal, not a guarantee. Reaching or not reaching it does not change how contributions are used.
Future organization
There is an intention to create, in the future, an organization that supports other people facing medical difficulties. That organization has not been formed. Contributions made today support this personal fundraiser, not a future organization.
Payment providers
Card contributions are made through a Stripe Payment Link, on Stripe's own checkout page, and Stripe's terms apply to those payments.
Contributions can also be made through PayPal, using a link to Einstein Rodriguez's personal PayPal account, and PayPal's terms apply to those payments.
Mistakes and questions
If you believe a contribution was made by mistake, please write to the contact email as soon as possible so the situation can be reviewed. The dispute process of your payment provider also remains available to you.
