Who runs this website
Einstein's Hope Fund is a personal fundraising initiative organized by Einstein Rodriguez in the United States. It is not a registered nonprofit organization.
What this website collects
This website has no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no payment forms. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
Like almost every website, the hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type). They are used only for security and troubleshooting, are rotated automatically and are kept for a limited time.
Contributions
Contributions are made on Stripe's or PayPal's own websites. This site never sees or stores card numbers, bank details or other payment credentials.
When you contribute, Stripe or PayPal shares with the recipient the information its service normally provides, such as your name, email address, the amount and any note you add. That information is used only to acknowledge your contribution and keep basic records of this fundraiser.
Stripe's and PayPal's own privacy policies apply to the information you give them.
The donation list on this page shows each donation the way the donor chose: name and amount, name only, or anonymously. If nothing is chosen, the donation appears as anonymous. To change how you appear or be removed from the list, write to the contact email.
Emails
If you write by email, your message and address are used only to reply to you.
Sharing
Your information is never sold or rented. It is not shared with anyone, except when required by law.
No names, amounts or messages are published on this site. If public recognition options are added in the future, they will be opt-in only.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the contact email. Records that Stripe, PayPal or the law require to be kept may not be deletable.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this website adds new features that handle information, this policy will be updated before they go live, and the date below will change.
